The RADWIN Smart-Node Accelerates the Roll-out of Smart City, IOT and Telecom Projects
RADWIN has just made rolling out and managing Smart-city, IOT and telecom projects that much easier. The new Smart-Node is an all-in-one power and communications solution that seamlessly integrates and third party smart-city devices such as smart lighting, smart metering, traffic management to power and network them. CCTV cameras, wifi access points, wireless broadband radios, IOT gateways and SIEMS can interconnect over a variety of power and networking interfaces including fiber and a variety of radio technologies with this off-the-shelf Smart-node.
Smart-node eliminates the hassle of creating customized connector and power cabinets and does it in about 1/3 the usual footprint. It operates on either AC or DC power and even comes ready with a solar panel option and a UPS battery backup.
The unified management system allows for local or remote monitoring, configuring and controlling all power, networking and alarms. This eliminates the need for periodic maintenance and costly truck rolls while lowering operational expenses.
We think this is a really slick device. RADWIN has taken the work out of ordering, configuring, installing and managing customized management cabinets in the field. This will definitely make it easier for field personnel at municipalities and ISPs to roll out a complete, integrated smart-city and IoT networks.
