This Smart Switch has twenty SFP ports, four SFP+ ports for 10G modules, and four combo ports which the user can choose to use as SFP or RJ45 ports. The user can also be software selected using scripting to decide which of the four ports are active if the user has plugged in all eight cables. A 1U rackmount case and two 100-240 V power supplies with fallover functionality are included with this device. The CRS328-4C-20S-4S+RM's mode button is customisable to execute any RouterOS commands, and the RJ45 console port allows for management and debugging.
This device also includes a "Dual Boot" feature, which allows the user to choose between the RouterOS or SwOS operating systems.
