Cambium Networks
The Cambium E2E license for cnWave, is required to enable Mesh configuration with a local hosted End-to -End (E2E) controller. There are two ways you can set up the E2E controller using the cnWave product.
Option 1: Onboard E2E Controller: Customer can configure one PoP node with the onboard E2E controller, which can support PTP, PMP, and Mesh configurations but is limited to a total of 20 additional nodes (CN+DN). This feature is a standard function of cnWave at no additional charge.
Option 2: Locally hosted E2E Controller: Customer can set up a local server to host the E2E controller. There is no restriction to configure any DN-CN connectivity using a locally hosted E2E controller. But to enable DN-DN connectivity, license key C000500K002A “60 GHz Act.Key - Enable DN-DN Connectivity, per DN device” must be purchased per DN device.
The license key is managed through cnMaestro (cnMaestro Essentials or cnMaestro X) per user account. This provides great flexibility for customers on license key assignment or RMA management.
