Small but Mighty. The Axis M42 Series of Mini Dome Cameras

AXIS Communications recently released a great, affordable, discreet indoor dome camera. The AXIS M42 series delivers high quality video surveillance under any lighting conditions—from a broad, hawkeye view to a detailed close-up. Remote management of its varifocal lens allows you to adjust the angle and zoom of the camera as needed--3 MP for wide 4:3 view and 1080p for 16:9 aspect ratio, with a viewing angle up to 100°.

The M42 series is fantastic for challenging lighting conditions. The M4206-V  features wide dynamic range (WDR) which lets you capture the important details by managing over and under exposure of images while ZipStream can lower your storage requirements by 50% or more. The 4206-LV also adds Optimized IR for superior control of the light conditions for exceptional clarity and sharpness even in pitch darkness.

These discreet mini domes can be repainted to blend in seamlessly with any interior. Clear and smoked dome covers are also available, so you can conceal the direction in which the camera is pointing. It's perfect for any location where discreet monitoring is needed to protect your assets under any lighting conditions.

An outdoor-ready, day and night camera outdoor-ready, day and night camera that delivers high-quality HDTV surveillance and a 100° field of view for outdoor locations.
