RADWIN’s Smart-Node Accelerates the Roll-out of Smart City, IOT, Telecom and Service Providers Projects

RADWIN has made rolling out and managing Smart-city and IoT projects that much easier. The new Smart-Node is an all-in-one power and communications solution that seamlessly integrates and third-party smart-city devices. Now you can power, connect and manage smart lighting, smart metering, traffic management while integrating Radwin’s PTP and PTMP radios. This off-the-shelf solution has so many connectivity options (including fiber) that cities and integrators can now seamlessly deploy CCTV cameras, Wi-Fi access points, wireless broadband radios, IOT gateways and SIEMS with a single, easy, affordable device. 

Smart-node eliminates the stressful task of creating bill of materials we’ve all experienced. No longer do you have to worry about creating customized connectors, finding the proper components and cabinets, plus its about 1/3 the usual footprint of the competitive enclosures. The Smart-Node operates on either AC or DC power, is even solar-friendly and includes a UPS battery backup.

The unified management system allows for local or remote monitoring, configuring and controlling all power, networking and alarms. This eliminates the need for periodic maintenance and costly truck rolls while lowering operational expenses. With the ease of installation and optional features not only will the network operation engineer and buyer find BOMs and purchasing are easier, the field tech that’s doing the installations will enjoy the ease of use as well.
