First Public Demonstrations of Axis Radar Shines Light on WLANmall

Last week, WLANmall was a hit at a local law enforcement show that took place in Long Beach California. We were fortunate enough to be one of the first reseller partners to demonstrate Axis Network Radar Detection. The D2050-VE works with Axis Q series Network Cameras, to provide an extra level of perimeter monitoring and protection using radar technology. With a 164 foot range, Radar detects motion and then directs cameras to the location of the motion. Cameras and Radar are now recording any intruder on the premises. With a 120-degree horizontal coverage, it tracks the angel of movement, the size and the speed of the moving object.

Like any Axis solution, Radar integrates in to your video management software, such as Milestone Networks, and enhances your security monitoring during periods that are often difficult to pick up on camera feeds-- darkness, rain or fog. Using your VMS, you can set triggers such as recording for visual verification, monitoring alarms, external alarms, lights on, messaging and more.
