Cambium’s New “Bridge-in-a-Box” Extends Local Connectivity in Home and Industrial Applications
Cambium recently introduced their new “Bridge-in-Box” which is a nice little out-of-the-box set up of two ePMP Force180 Subscriber Modules that are packaged and preconfigured together. By placing one radio on the servicing building and one onto a remote location a short distance away—say across a driveway to a garage, out to a barn or guest house or a separate building in a business park—this great little unit that delivers up to 200 Mbps from the LAN wirelessly to a remote location, removing the need for cabling between locations.
The ePMP Force180’s operate in the unlicensed 5GHz frequency, which is also ideal and a great tool for adding wireless bandwidth to support an additional WiFi router, an IP surveillance camera or any other device that needs to be connected to the local network.
We really like this radio for many reasons, but just because they are manufactured and backed by Cambium Networks, it means they will include great support, will be very reliable and the plug and play design means it will be easy to use.
