This is your chance to beat your competition and jump head first into the first newly unlicensed band in years! This green frequecny means little to no RF interference, better performance and more reliable service.
The Motorola Canopy product line is the industry leader in point to multipoint and WISP deployments. Motorola Canopy access points provide the reliability, scalability, low latency and low subscriber cost to make allow any ISP to provide the highest SLAs in an extrrememly cost effective manner. Here are some things you should know about the Motorola Canopy before deployment.

Controlling Interference: The Motorola Canopy Approach
Canopy Performance in Broadband Wireless Access Systems
Wireless Bandwidth vs Throughput
Now a short system overview
The Canopy system operates in point-to-point and point-to-multipoint configurations at 2.4, 5.2, 5.4 and 5.7 GHz. The Canopy Backhaul modules support point-to-point links delivering 13 Mbps of effective throughput for distances up to 56 km (35 miles using 5.8 Ghz) as well as point-to-multipoint links delivering more than 6 Mbps of throughput for distances up to 24 km (15 miles using 5.8 Ghz). However where higher bandwidth backhauls are neccessary the Motorola Canopy PTP400 and PTP600 high speed wireless backhauls are perfect for the job.
Designed to deliver consistent and reliable wireless broadband service, the Canopy system gracefully scales to support large deployments. This is achieved through the systems unique synchronization capabilities using the Global Positioning System (GPS) as well as Canopys inherent interference techniques. The systems synchronization allows network operators to re-use frequencies and add capacity while consistently ensuring consistency in the quality of service to customers. As a result, subscribers can experience carrier grade service even those at the outer edge of the network. Synchronization also helps ensure the Canopy system modules transmissions do not interfere with each other. Canopy system modules are also extremely tolerant to interference from other sources. The Canopy systems industry-leading nominal Carrier to Interference (C/I) ratio of 3 dB ensures reliable communication when other transmitters are present.
The Canopy system hardware draws little power and its packaging is unobtrusive. Installation is easy, and the built-in audio and visual feedback indicators allow the unit to be installed with no special training. These characteristics facilitate initial deployment and network expansion as capacity needs increase.
NOTE: Each Motorola Canopy AP and SM REQUIRES 1 x ACPS110-03 to operate
